Saminchakuy: Absorbing finest energy of the cosmos, and offering heavy energy to be absorbed, digested, transformed by Mother Earth.

Saminchakuy is a common practice amongst those who practice nature wisdom of the Inka. .

“Finest living energy of the cosmos” is the lightest, sweetest, highest form of energy we can possibly imagine! “Heavy energy,” or “hoocha,” is most easily described as our less desirable emotions such as anger, resentment, frustration.  Hoocha can also be emotions that are natural and often healing – until they linger too long… such as sadness, sorrow, pain.

Heavy energy is often described as “bad” but in our tradition – there is no distinction of bad or good.  The difference can more easily be described as heavier, denser qualities versus lighter, freer forms of energy.  One is not better than the other.  Both are part of human experience.  One must be released (heavy) in order for the other (light) to be fully expressed.  This is not dark versus light.  It’s heavy and light.  And how we can benefit from understanding each: why we feel them, and how to appreciate, metabolize and shift them. .
