Metamorphosis

This shot was taken by a friend only four short/long years ago. I love how present I am in this photo. I remember feeling sleepy as we met before sunrise….. an alchemical time every day. 

Years have passed, and as the days etched by….. I immersed myself in caring for my children, finding my own way through emotional heaps of heartache and revelation. Discovering, reclaiming, and rediscovering parts and bits of my SOUL…. Logistically attempting to maneuver my way through a linear way of living this life…. and failing miserably because my inherent nature is right brained, big picture, non-linear, expansive, possibility! (Not always easily translated into an organized present).

I’ve metamorphosed. I’m coming through a dark night. Those near and dear me know the nuances, and those in my community may have witnessed the effects of my life circumstances – and choices. Life is a journey. Potent. Magical. Mystical. A journey I have felt completely untethered in. And one I’ve also felt wholly in synch with.
